Hiding Behind Civilians

The video clearly shows just where Hezbollah positions it's "Katyusha" missile launchers - in heavily populated built-up areas.

H/T: Vital Perspective.. The same blog has another post, which I found a bit of an eye-opener. I have to admit that I also swallowed what CNN exposed as nothing more than Hezbollah propaganda: destruction of Beirut.

-----------
According to a man close to Olmert, Israel is about to change its tactics:

Ramon said the Israeli air force must bomb villages before ground forces enter, suggesting this would help prevent Israeli casualties in the future.

Asked whether entire villages should be flattened, he said: "These places are not villages. They are military bases in which Hezbollah people are hiding and from which they are operating."

Ramon said Israel has given civilians in southern Lebanon sufficient warning to leave the area, and that those left behind should be considered Hezbollah sympathizers. "All those now in south Lebanon are terrorists who are related in some way to Hezbollah," he said.

Source.

Israel will be right to do this to prevent the death of it's soldiers. The previous tactics minimized the risk to civilians by putting Israeli soldiers at risk. Every Israeli death gives a "moral" boost to Hezbollah.

I have seen photos on the web of caches of weapons, explosives, communication devices, that have been discovered by US forces in Mosques in Iraq. It seems the practice of hiding/storing weapons in schools, hospitals etc. is standard procedure for Muslim insurgents, jihadists, freedom fighters, terrorists, whatever they call themselves. Despicable and cowardly.
