Hezbollah's "Heil Allah" Salute
Just a quick reminder to the French what Israel is fighting against. Suppose it's not that unusual for the French leaders to take the wrong side once they see a familiar gesture.
I did find it curious that Nazrallah decided that "open war" starts when his office and house are attacked, but not when
1. He showers Israel with missiles
2. He kills and kidnaps Israeli citizens.
3. Israel acts by attacking Lebanese communications
4. Israel attacks Hezbollah targets in south Lebanon.
National Post reports that the Israeli ship was hit by Iranian troops based in Lebanon using Iranian-made, radar-guided C-102 missile. The Iranian missiles also hit Haifa. This time tracks lead to Teheran rather than Damascus.
For now Israel has to focus on Hezblollah, Iranian proxi. My guesses:
1. It won't be long before Israeli ground troops are in the Bekaa valley.
2. Nazrallah won't survive this war.

I agree with both of your predictions. The IAF has already bombed strategic targets in the Bekaa Valley. So, wouldn't be surprised to ground forces go in to clean up the rest.

Yes, real "Heil" Salutes are despicable. As opposed to pointing gestures or waving.
